Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Manole Frunză made the kick off and thus started the match. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Negara. Victor Negara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Rovine Craiova's Victor Negara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Casaus in the 9th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Marcel Turcescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcel Turcescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 20 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Negara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manole Frunză in the 21st minute of play. Victor Negara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victor Negara was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Negara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Guillermo Fontirroig hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Guillermo Fontirroig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Guillermo Fontirroig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Negara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Turcescu in the 45th minute of play. The supporters of Rovine Craiova booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Carballar didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Negara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rovine Craiova's Victor Negara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 60th minute of play. Victor Negara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Negara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd minute Rovine Craiova were awarded a corner. Alexandru Tudorică went to the cornerflag to take it. After 73 played minutes Rovine Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Marcu Vârjean. The free kick resulted in a very good chance to score when Marcu Vârjean kicked a really tricky shot on goal. Thiago Pliego never had to step in, however, because the ball went just left of the goal. Jyrki Saarelainen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Thiago Pliego firmly grabbed it by the left post. Victor Negara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 79th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victor Negara. Rovine Craiova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Rovine Craiova's Jyrki Saarelainen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thiago Pliego. That made the score 3-2 after 85 minutes of play. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rovine Craiova's goalkeeper Victor Negara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Victor Negara came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. In the 96th minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Negara was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chile had played much better football throughout.
