The supporters of Rovine Craiova booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandru Tudorică in the 16th minute of the match. After 18 minutes, Costică Ştefănescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rovine Craiova and the Colombia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes Rovine Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Costică Ştefănescu. When Abram Sarmiento came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abram Sarmiento couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Alexandru Tudorică managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rovine Craiova's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandru Tudorică was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th minute, Jyrki Saarelainen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rovine Craiova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 29 minutes Rovine Craiova's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Montenegro who took care of the corner kick. Axel Montenegro made a great header on Colombia's corner, it was just that Rovine Craiova's Victor Negara managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience was convinced that Axel Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Negara was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Gustaw Rasialdo got a throw-in 45 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Kacper Štilić. The crowd rose to their feet as Manole Frunză kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 0-2 in the 64 minute of play. Victor Negara came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Santino Seco. But to his dismay, Santino Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Victor Negara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Secada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colombia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kevin Mastache in the 72nd minute. After taking down the ball on Colombia's corner Kevin Mastache fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Victor Negara quite easily take care of the ball. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rovine Craiova's goalkeeper Victor Negara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 80th minute of the game Gustaw Rasialdo made a throw-in which Kacper Štilić played forward. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Jyrki Saarelainen sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute, Abram Secada made a precise shot to the right of Victor Negara.
