Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Blas Beila started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Urbasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gladiadores's Daniel Urbasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 7th minute of play. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Blas Beila sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Urbasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Blas Beila in the 19th minute. If Marciano Pettinelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Urbasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play. Agustín Saelices took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Urbasa. Daniel Urbasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Daniel Urbasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 34th minute of the match, Blas Beila got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Urbasa having to interfere. A collision led to Gladiadores getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Gabrie-Alejandro Maldini hit a great ball. After 43 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Urbasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Daniel Urbasa in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Daniel Urbasa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Daniel Urbasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 59th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Gladiadores's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Daniel Urbasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Urbasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Gladiadores's Marciano Pettinelli got a free kick in the 68th minute. Agustín Saelices could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Daniel Urbasa made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Felix Montenegro put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Daniel Urbasa. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albino Belo in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Albino Belo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador played a much better game than Gladiadores and deserved their victory. The Gladiadores players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
