Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Gotham Saray FC's Serkan Gaar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Apolo Egoitz. Apolo Egoitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 17th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gotham Saray FC's Apolo Egoitz did a great save. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Apolo Egoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 26th minute of the match. Konrad Nafz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Till Schiefer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Apolo Egoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 43rd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Gotham Saray FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Apolo Egoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Apolo Egoitz made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. After 57 minutes, Konrad Nafz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gotham Saray FC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Konrad Nafz kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Apolo Egoitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 58th minute. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Apolo Egoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 70th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Apolo Egoitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Gotham Saray FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niko Kalweit didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Apolo Egoitz. That made the score 0-2 in the 79 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serkan Gaar in the 83rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Gotham Saray FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niko Kalweit didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gotham Saray FC made a substitution. Willibald Holzenkamp replaced Niko Kalweit. Cristian Sancho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Apolo Egoitz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
