Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ignacio Alvarez took the kick off in the first half of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valko Nanyov. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind GARGOYLES's goalkeeper Nayden Vúlev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, GARGOYLES's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Nayden Vúlev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ignacio Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Afonsinho Fernandes made a throw-in in the 31st minute of the game. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Nayden Vúlev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Ignacio Alvarez sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1.

With a little luck, GARGOYLES's Nayden Vúlev got control of the ball when Milagros Fraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milagros Fraga got free with Nayden Vúlev in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nayden Vúlev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute of the match Peru got a corner. GARGOYLES's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. 66 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Slavyan Mechkuev came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valko Nanyov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Valko Nanyov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GARGOYLES fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 77 minutes into the game, Afonsinho Fernandes threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Alonso Berganza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. In the 82nd minute, Afonsinho Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Eliseo Mina went to the cornerflag to take it. After 87 minutes GARGOYLES's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eliseo Mina who took care of the corner kick. The audience was convinced that Rafael Gallo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nayden Vúlev was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. After 93 minutes of play, Peru's Rafael Gallo made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nayden Vúlev was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Peru eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
