Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Afonso Amado started the match with the kick off. If Hélio Manarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélio Malheiro in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hernani Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hernani Correia. Desert Fury's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afonso Amado. 20 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernani Correia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristian Sancho scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hernani Correia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hernani Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Afonso Amado got free with Julio Vera in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute of the match Desert Fury got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nuno Ramos ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Desert Fury's Nuno Ramos to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Hernani Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Nuno Ramos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Desert Fury's Hernani Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute of play. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani Correia having to interfere. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The Desert Fury players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute Nuno Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Desert Fury's Hernani Correia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Desert Fury from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonso Amado in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Ailton Flores succeeded in the game's 76th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. The Desert Fury fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Desert Fury's Pedro Maurito looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani Correia having to interfere. In the 92ndth minute of the game Pedro Maurito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 93rd match minute, Desert Fury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Apalanga to maneuver through the defense. After 95 minutes of play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hernani Correia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
