An unexpectedly hard shot by Gao Yin Yang in the 15th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edwardów's Cezary Kaczeniak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Edwardów from getting a goal against them. Cezary Kaczeniak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute. In the 20th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cezary Kaczeniak. Cezary Kaczeniak yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The supporters of Edwardów booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piotr Malinowski in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Edwardów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kacper Osowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cezary Kaczeniak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stanislaw Koczara made a kick off. In the 56th minute Piotr Malinowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zhou Rong Hui who took care of the corner kick. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Cezary Kaczeniak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stanislaw Koczara in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Stanislaw Koczara sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Edwardów's Cezary Kaczeniak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 70th minute of play. After 71 minutes Edwardów's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Luis Andino hit a great ball. Edwardów made a substitution. Lukasz Makomaski replaced Stanislaw Koczara. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
