Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tomas Illescas made the kick off which started today's match. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Oleg Mironov, made in the 5th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xorxe Viguera saved FORTALEZA from getting behind. Thanks to some nice moves Stoyo Kamenarski could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Egor Zabarenko was slow to take the kick. During this time FORTALEZA's players had a chance to rest. The corner led FORTALEZA's Oleg Mironov to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Stoyo Kamenarski tried to sneak it across the goal line. FORTALEZA were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Egor Zabarenko took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Pilip Panfilov managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xorxe Viguera was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xorxe Viguera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stoyo Kamenarski went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Stoyo Kamenarski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 38 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xorxe Viguera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xorxe Viguera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 47th minute of play.

54 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Stoyo Kamenarski came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Stoyo Kamenarski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stoyo Kamenarski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Xorxe Viguera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 58th minute. After a rather tough play, FORTALEZA's Aleksandr Lemesh got a free kick in the 67th minute. Aleksandr Lemesh charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aleksandr Lemesh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FORTALEZA getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Aleksandr Lemesh hit a great ball. After having played for 73 minutes, Jose Correa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Correa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute, Patricio Costa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind FORTALEZA's goalkeeper Xorxe Viguera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stoyo Kamenarski in the 84th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Zbyszko Tusk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 86th minute of the game.
