Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Cantera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Aquilino Felo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frantz Fillali in the 7th minute of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. In the 11th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hakkı Türel. Aquilino Felo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 14th minute of the match. Anselmo Monteiro in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cantera FC's Aquilino Felo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Cantera FC's Anselmo Monteiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 25th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Felo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. Anselmo Monteiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Anselmo Monteiro slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 29th minute. If Hakkı Türel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute Anselmo Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 35th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Hakkı Türel tried to sneak it across the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Monteiro came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hakkı Türel hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The wind increased when Anselmo Monteiro made the kick off in the second half. If Hakkı Türel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. In the 58th minute Frantz Fillali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Anselmo Monteiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Hakkı Türel struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cantera FC. In the 90th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Felo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Monteiro came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 94 minutes into the game, when Rigoberto Mina put in a rough tackle. Ambrosio Astera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cantera FC.
