Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Baykal Yanal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 9th minute JFSP were awarded a corner. Cenap İğdemir went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 11th minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Baykal Yanal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 15 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Henrique Teixeira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Henrique Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baykal Yanal's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Moisés Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrique Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Moisés Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 57th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in JFSP's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moisés Novaes came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 66th minute of play forced JFSP's goalkeeper Moisés Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moisés Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. JFSP made a substitution. Roberto Pato replaced Baykal Yanal. Venezuela's attentive Jose Correa managed to snatch the ball when Laerte Barbosa made a throw-in in the 78th minute of the game. In the 79th minute, Maurício Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 80 minutes, Maurício Pires mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JFSP and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cenap İğdemir who took care of the corner kick. In the 86th minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of Moisés Novaes. JFSP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2.
