Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francisco Seco started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Kristján Kipper notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristján Kipper in the 9th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 minutes, Kristján Kipper made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of S.C. Potentia booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Carballal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Adam Messi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquin Gayoso was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Kristján Kipper capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kristján Kipper really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. The supporters of Uruguay booed when S.C. Potentia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Messi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristján Kipper in the 32nd minute of play. Uruguay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Kristján Kipper scored to the left of an out of position Joaquin Gayoso, making the score, 5-0. Kristján Kipper's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Joaquin Gayoso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Kevin Carballal kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the last second Joaquin Gayoso throw himself and got hold of the ball when Kristján Kipper in the 42ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Kristján Kipper had several of the Uruguay's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 42 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 7-0 score and a disappointed Joaquin Gayoso as he didn't even see the shot coming. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kristján Kipper in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kristján Kipper's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the game, Erik Rensenbrink cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Bruno Beldad hit a great ball. In the 57thth minute Roger Ijspol beautifully dribbled past Uruguay's defense and it looked for a moment as a certain goal, but Joaquin Gayoso pulled off a phantom save to prevent the ball from scoring on his left hand side. 9-0 came in the 57th minute when Roger Ijspol all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Marian Tufescu hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The supporters of S.C. Potentia booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute of the match, Francisco Seco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pascal Vledder was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kristján Kipper's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Pitin in the 70th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. S.C. Potentia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roman Pitin in the 71st minute. Roman Pitin made a great header on S.C. Potentia's corner, it was just that Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso managed to reach the ball for a save. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristján Kipper, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. S.C. Potentia's Pascal Vledder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save S.C. Potentia from getting a goal against them. In the 85th minute, Kristján Kipper left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.C. Potentia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-1. Marian Tufescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute Kristján Kipper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. S.C. Potentia were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Uruguay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roman Pitin took the corner. S.C. Potentia's Roman Pitin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joaquin Gayoso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Uruguay's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
