Andy Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When Ümit Daman came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Soda f c fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ümit Daman couldn't finish the play. Niceto Gregory received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Soda f c's Ümit Daman. But to his dismay, Ümit Daman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Ümit Daman took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. Ümit Daman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Ümit Daman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Primitivo Andino hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, Soda f c's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Andy Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ümit Daman made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabian Etor who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Soda f c's Fabian Etor to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Ümit Daman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 57 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ümit Daman came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Andy Garcia made a huge save. 62 minutes into the match, Soda f c's Ümit Daman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ümit Daman came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andy Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 65th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Andy Garcia made a huge save. Ümit Daman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ümit Daman in the 71st minute of play. Andy Garcia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Soda f c's Zézinho Moraes was substituted for Ümit Daman. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zézinho Moraes in the 85th minute of play. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Soda f c were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
