Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Lacasa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonardo Jara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonardo Jara came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Tunberg in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Leonardo Jara. Bandyklubben's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 40 minutes into the match, Bandyklubben's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Leonardo Jara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonardo Jara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Carballar to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Wahlström in the 58th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 played minutes Bandyklubben got a freekick which was hit by Bosse Tuborg. After 69 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Carballar. 72 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonardo Jara. Bandyklubben's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stefan Tunberg's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute Bandyklubben were awarded a corner. Bosse Tuborg went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 83rd minute, Oliver Tsubasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Leonardo Jara managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Chile's Mariano Lacasa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonardo Jara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 87th playminute. Oliver Tsubasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute Stefan Tunberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Tunberg in the 96th minute of play. The Chile supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chile would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
