The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 2 minutes into the game, one of Mexico:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Dante Lacasa, was totally fooled by Bandyklubben's Stefan Tunberg, who 4 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Bandyklubben's Oliver Tsubasa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dante Lacasa. That made the score 2-0 after 11 minutes of play. Bandyklubben's Leonardo Jara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of Mexico booed when Bandyklubben was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billy Wahlström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonardo Jara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Maldonado in the 33rd minute of play. Oliver Tsubasa succeeded in the game's 38th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Tunberg in the 44th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stefan Tunberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonardo Jara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 54 minutes into the match, Bandyklubben's goalkeeper Leonardo Jara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gogo Maldonado's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Stefan Tunberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bandyklubben's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefan Tunberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leonardo Jara quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Mexico booed when Bandyklubben was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver Tsubasa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Oliver Tsubasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. In the 69th minute, Oliver Tsubasa made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 73rd minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Bandyklubben getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Per-Åke Ek hit a great ball. Leonardo Jara was a little too slow when Joel Gaona got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 5-1. In the 85th minute, Lautaro Mancebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonardo Jara was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. In the 90th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Jara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Alberto Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, Bandyklubben could leave the field as winners, despite Mexico having more of the ball for most of the match.
