The wind increased when Avram Rizescu made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Czeslaw Tyski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The referee ignored Fragmenty Nietoperzy's protests and gave Caradaro Teijeira a yellow card for diving instead. Caradaro Teijeira hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Although Ecuador had been in control for most of the match, Fragmenty Nietoperzy still came away with the win.
