Marcos Cotilla was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mattias Henriksson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 14th minute, Mattias Henriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mats Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Schlurp IF's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Barrios came free, but Mats Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Ros kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ladislao Isadore went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Freddie Sandström got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Ladislao Isadore took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Marcos Cotilla to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddie Sandström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats Lindgren having to interfere. Panama's Abraham Alguacil got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matthew Garrido during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee ignored Schlurp IF's protests and gave Kurt Wennersten a yellow card for diving instead. After 82 minutes of play, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mats Lindgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mats Lindgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Schlurp IF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Panama for a fine match.
