Despite this Stefan Hoffman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 16th minute, Wasyl Tychy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Stefan Hoffman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 25 played minutes Patryk Tuliszewski could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-1 into the left cross. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patryk Tuliszewski's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patryk Tuliszewski made a kick off. Teobald Lemiesz hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the game, Herbert Rakiewicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KS Chrobotki Reniferowe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. The supporters of Ecuador booed when KS Chrobotki Reniferowe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Rakiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, KS Chrobotki Reniferowe's goalkeeper Stefan Hoffman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Patryk Tuliszewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in KS Chrobotki Reniferowe's zone, Felix Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefan Hoffman came out of the goal and Felix Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Ecuador played a much better game than KS Chrobotki Reniferowe and deserved their victory. The KS Chrobotki Reniferowe players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
