Fisica UNT's Dražen Ladić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 13th minute of play. Cassius Byrne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 26 in the game by Marcelo Cordero from a close distance when the talented Marco Day managed to make a qualified save. USA's players were relieved. Dražen Ladić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conor Gallagher. Dražen Ladić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martín Ferreyra in the 36th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Monty Rogers might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dražen Ladić. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Monty Rogers ran back to his position shaking his head. Fac. de Ed. Marco Day didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelo Cordero went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cassius Byrne to strike the kick off in the second half. Monty Rogers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Dražen Ladić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute Martín Ferreyra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dražen Ladić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conor Gallagher in the 67th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conor Gallagher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Dražen Ladić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT from getting a goal against them. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Jose Rayman was substituted for Conor Gallagher. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT made a substitution. Zheng Jing Feng replaced Marcelo Cordero. A collision led to Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Conor Gallagher hit a great ball. USA were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
