In the 3rd minute of the game Dennis Lekberg made a throw-in which Freddie Sandström played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 5th minute of play forced Schlurp IF's goalkeeper Mats Lindgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freddie Sandströms short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Joaquin Gayoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Jaime Cazalla hit a great ball. Maximiliano Escribano struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Mats Lindgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. After some careless play in the Schlurp IF defense, Maximiliano Escribano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mats Lindgren. The Schlurp IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mats Lindgren should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Schlurp IF booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Freddie Sandström could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Joaquin Gayoso however easily saved by the left post. Maximiliano Escribano hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 34th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Seco to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Schlurp IF defense, Francisco Seco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mats Lindgren. The Schlurp IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mats Lindgren should have stopped the shot. Kevin Carballal kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Mats Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Uruguay were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Freddie Sandström was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Uruguay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dick Smefeldt was slow to take the kick. During this time Schlurp IF's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Camilo Franco hit a great ball. After 59 played minutes Schlurp IF got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Lekberg. Mats Lindgren was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Francisco Seco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Francisco Seco really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Isadore in the 70th minute of play. Schlurp IF's Mats Lindgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Schlurp IF from getting a goal against them. Ladislao Isadore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 played minutes Schlurp IF got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Wennersten. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddie Sandström in the 88th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Schlurp IF got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Henriksson. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddie Sandström in the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Uruguay left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Schlurp IF.
