Peru's attentive Alonso Berganza managed to snatch the ball when Jim Gustad made a throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game. In the 8th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samir Afacan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Tuna Karal struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beşiktaş çArşı. 19 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samir Afacan. Beşiktaş çArşı's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tuna Karal in the 22nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 minutes of play, Peru's Luz Tejedor made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samir Afacan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Samir Afacan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. If Aggelos Farmakas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Alonso Berganza hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Beşiktaş çArşı's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Samir Afacan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tuna Karal's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute Beşiktaş çArşı were awarded a corner. Aggelos Farmakas went to the cornerflag to take it. Boudewijn Nelis hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Eliseo Mina might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samir Afacan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Mina ran back to his position shaking his head. Jim Gustad made in the 66th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jim Gustad however managed to control. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samir Afacan having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Tuna Karal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Beşiktaş çArşı's Samir Afacan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 75th minute of play. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Eliseo Mina was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 89th minute. Peru's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The Beşiktaş çArşı fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
