Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Aykutalp Ezgü made the kick off and thus started the match. Stig-Ove Hedkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aykutalp Ezgü was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Shed End's players had a chance to rest. In the 8th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stig-Ove Hedkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Stig-Ove Hedkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Luís Gustavo Corrêa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, FC Shed End's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Stig-Ove Hedkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stig-Ove Hedkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 27th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig-Ove Hedkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. Egon Lindgren hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Gustav Wållander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. With a little luck, FC Shed End's Stig-Ove Hedkvist got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, Stig Hafström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Shed End's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 56th minute, Stig Hafström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute, Aykutalp Ezgü sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ecuador's Julio Vera didn't even have to move. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aykutalp Ezgü in the 68th minute of the match. FC Shed End's Aykutalp Ezgü got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 78 minutes into the game, FC Shed End's Silvestre Gar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Talip Taşan in the 84th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Silvestre Gar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvestre Gar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
