With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Angelo Baciadonne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play. Angelo Baciadonne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Valeriu Zoreanu came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Neghină, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Valeriu Zoreanu notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Valeriu Zoreanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Valeriu Zoreanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihnea Gârleanu in the 71st minute of the match. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ABK Black Warriors73's Angelo Baciadonne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save ABK Black Warriors73 from getting a goal against them. Mihnea Gârleanu struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ABK Black Warriors73. In the 86th minute, ABK Black Warriors73's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristian Sancho fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because ABK Black Warriors73 had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
