Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cassius Byrne made the kick off which started today's match. Mathias de Ruijter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 7th minute of play forced De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Mike Zoetmulder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias de Ruijter in the 9th minute of the match. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias de Ruijter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 12th minute of play forced De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Mike Zoetmulder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Zoetmulder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mathias de Ruijter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. Kurt Ginneken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of USA booed when De Pelgrims was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theo Tuyp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cassius Byrne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Mathias de Ruijter sent off a good shot on target. Mike Zoetmulder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Perivaldo Eger made the kick off in the second half. Perivaldo Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. When Mathias de Ruijter came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the De Pelgrims fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathias de Ruijter couldn't finish the play. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. Thanks to some nice moves Jacob May could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Mike Zoetmulder however easily saved by the left post. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Montrel Perpiñán in the 82nd minute of play. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perivaldo Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. De Pelgrims's Theo Tuyp got his second yellow card of the match in the 84th minute. The referee ordered Theo Tuyp off the ground. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. The supporters of USA booed when De Pelgrims was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theo Tuyp didn't get a good kick on the ball. De Pelgrims's Mike Zoetmulder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khalid Parry in the 88th minute of play. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jenson Smith in the 92nd minute. It was a well-played corner which Marco Baker managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Raphael Moore kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Raphael Moore's late challenge caught a De Pelgrims's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raphael Moore helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to USA getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Raphael Moore hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded USA left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than De Pelgrims.
