Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cassius Byrne made the kick off which started today's match. Dražen Ladić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 2nd minute of play. Conor Gallagher's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Marco Day skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Conor Gallagher did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Marco Day 8 minutes into the match. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelo Cordero in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute Martín Ferreyra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Cordero's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Marco Day skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martín Ferreyra, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 33rd minute of play forced Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's goalkeeper Dražen Ladić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dražen Ladić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Conor Gallagher sent off a good shot on target. Marcelo Cordero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelo Cordero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martín Ferreyra in the 57th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximo Bertol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Monty Rogers struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Dražen Ladić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martín Ferreyra in the 65th minute of play. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conor Gallagher in the 67th minute of play. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Cordero in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Mingo to maneuver through the defense. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Jose Rayman was substituted for Conor Gallagher. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Zheng Jing Feng was substituted for Marcelo Cordero. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. In the 80th minute, Rolando Mingo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martín Ferreyra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. After some careless play in the USA defense, Jose Rayman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Day. The USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Day should have stopped the shot. Dražen Ladić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sam Campbell in the 93rd minute. Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zheng Jing Feng's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. In the 96thth minute of the game Zheng Jing Feng who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Martín Ferreyra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. USA were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
