After 24 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gilbert Kordalewski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. After 28 minutes, Wincent Szotek made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of play forced B&B Jelenia Góra's goalkeeper Gilbert Kordalewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by B&B Jelenia Góra's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. At last the ball reached Felix Montenegro at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of B&B Jelenia Góra. 2-1. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Wincent Szotek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Gilbert Kordalewski in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 62 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilbert Kordalewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juan Sebastián Puig helped the player get up and apologised. After 94 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than B&B Jelenia Góra throughout the match.
