Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Gürsercağ SK's Mustafa Arif Çınar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Feyyaz Tozan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of the match. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 16th minute of play forced Gürsercağ SK's goalkeeper Feyyaz Tozan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Gürsercağ SK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Feyyaz Tozan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 24th minute, Kaan Ünalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Gürsercağ SK's Feyyaz Tozan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of play. Mustafa Arif Çınar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Arif Çınar in the 37th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gürsercağ SK's goalkeeper Feyyaz Tozan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Gürsercağ SK's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feyyaz Tozan came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Feyyaz Tozan made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ke Chang Xuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Feyyaz Tozan firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 63rd minute, Hüseyin Can Paşa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Feyyaz Tozan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Feyyaz Tozan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Hüseyin Can Paşa hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stoyo Kozhuharov in the 75th minute of the match. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feyyaz Tozan having to interfere. With a little luck, Gürsercağ SK's Feyyaz Tozan got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ali Güralp Topçam charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ali Güralp Topçam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. But to his dismay, Mustafa Arif Çınar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hüseyin Can Paşa during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gürsercağ SK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. When the referee blew the final whistle, Gürsercağ SK could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
