Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Pedrinho Hoffmann started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Pedrinho Hoffmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético-PR's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedrinho Hoffmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Oswaldo Paraíba came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Antonio Arias. But to his dismay, Antonio Arias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 18th minute, Perivaldo Sampaio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 1-1. 22 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedrinho Hoffmann. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswaldo Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedrinho Hoffmann in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 36th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswaldo Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oswaldo Paraíba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Cristian Sancho put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Oswaldo Paraíba. Oswaldo Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético-PR the free kick. In the 40th minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 47 in the game by Pedrinho Hoffmann from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perivaldo Sampaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Pedrinho Hoffmann took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 56th minute Pedrinho Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrinho Hoffmann in the 58th minute of play. When Atlético-PR's Pedrinho Hoffmann in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oswaldo Paraíba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oswaldo Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Oswaldo Paraíba made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Oswaldo Paraíba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 66th minute. Peng Chao Feng hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Perivaldo Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oswaldo Paraíba. Atlético-PR's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Yang Ke Xun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
