Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Carvalhal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yngve Haegg's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yngve Haegg helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Snett★inåt★bakåt getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Yngve Haegg hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the game, Ola Britz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 21st minute Valter Parve shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernando Carvalhal was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Ivan Vollander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Ivan Vollander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yngve Haegg got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 53rd minute, Yngve Haegg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Kenneth Kvarnström skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rigoberto Mina's late challenge caught a Snett★inåt★bakåt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kenneth Kvarnström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. After 74 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Joshua Secada. In the 84th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Kvarnström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Snett★inåt★bakåt players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
