Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Pedrinho Hoffmann started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Oswaldo Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 3rd minute of play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Pedrinho Hoffmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Pedrinho Hoffmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedrinho Hoffmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedrinho Hoffmann in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedrinho Hoffmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. After 20 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dráuzio Barral who took care of the corner kick. Márcio Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Oswaldo Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Atlético-PR's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Oswaldo Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 minutes Atlético-PR's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Oswaldo Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético-PR's Pedrinho Hoffmann. But to his dismay, Pedrinho Hoffmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Pedrinho Hoffmann kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 3-2 in the 42 minute of play. Pedrinho Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Paraíba having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Atlético-PR's goalkeeper Oswaldo Paraíba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. When Atlético-PR's Pedrinho Hoffmann in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. In the 65th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Oswaldo Paraíba was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oswaldo Paraíba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Atlético-PR's Yang Ke Xun was substituted for Márcio Cruz. Atlético-PR made a substitution. Cacá Breckenfeld replaced Eugênio Azevedo. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 68th minute. Yang Ke Xun kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hong Jian Fan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Perivaldo Sampaio in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hong Jian Fan in the 90th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Atlético-PR's Yang Ke Xun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Atlético-PR were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
