Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. 史旭林 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paraskevas Spelas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Gabrielsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Alberto Tafalla came free with the goalkeeper in the 89th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and 史旭林 could save by the left post. After 90 played minutes 【FLY】≮风☆云≯蘑菇头炖鲁班 got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Gabrielsson. In the 93rd minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but 史旭林 was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Goncalves in the 97th minute of play.
