Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, MILAN's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Szymon Erland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after MILAN's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Luis Andino made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that MILAN's Szymon Erland managed to reach the ball for a save. MILAN's Szymon Erland proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save MILAN from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 0-1 became the score in the 10th minute when Witalis Kornaszewski elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Szymon Erland made a huge save. Witalis Kornaszewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Szymon Erland. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes into the match, Guillermo Astozas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guillermo Astozas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 25 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Szymon Erland having to interfere. In the 31st minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Daniel Zorita advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-2 in the 32nd minute. Primitivo Andino hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Agustín Saelices in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Szymon Erland, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Szymon Erland stood somewhat misplaced when Agustín Saelices came free in front of goal and shot 2-2 to the left of him in the 37 minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Witalis Kornaszewski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Szymon Erland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 58th minute of the match. A collision led to MILAN getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. José Faria hit a great ball. After 61 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Guillermo Astozas scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 2-3. Szymon Erland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after MILAN's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MILAN's Szymon Erland did a great save. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Szymon Erland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Guillermo Astozas could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. 85 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guillermo Astozas. MILAN's Szymon Erland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 91st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Szymon Erland saved MILAN from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillermo Astozas got free with Julio Vera in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Ecuador manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing MILAN to win.
