Axel Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Rômulo Neiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. In the 14th minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rômulo Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Ignacy Pluciennik threw the ball into play from the sideline. Colombia's Kevin Mastache quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rômulo Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rômulo Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Mukifus FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Rômulo Neiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mukifus FSCMZ! After a rather tough play, Colombia's Joshua Garrido got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Rômulo Neiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joshua Garrido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abram Sarmiento made a kick off. After 50 minutes, Ignacy Pluciennik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mukifus FSCMZ and the Colombia players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Mukifus FSCMZ's Rômulo Neiva got control of the ball when Axel Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thiago Hudson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mukifus FSCMZ's Rômulo Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 66th minute of play. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Herensuge Colomes kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Mukifus FSCMZ made a substitution. Fulgencio Furman replaced Ignacy Pluciennik. Colombia made a substitution. The supporters of Colombia booed when Mukifus FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herensuge Colomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mukifus FSCMZ's Jozef Botto. But to his dismay, Jozef Botto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joshua Garrido in the 85th minute of play forced Mukifus FSCMZ's goalkeeper Rômulo Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Kevin Mastache went to the cornerflag to take it. Abram Secada received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rômulo Neiva came out and tried to block the shot, but Abram Secada slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 89th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Ignacio Mastache notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Mukifus FSCMZ's Rômulo Neiva. Rômulo Neiva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Colombia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
