Camilo Gisbert charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Gisbert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Erling Bennet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aşkın Özgunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aşkın Özgunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Erling Bennet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soulfly F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Erling Bennet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Soulfly F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rene Luzea in the 30th minute. After some careless play in the Soulfly F.C. defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aşkın Özgunes. The Soulfly F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aşkın Özgunes should have stopped the shot. In the 36th minute, Ermis Vogiatzakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vatan Şirzat kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita scored 0-3 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aşkın Özgunes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ermis Vogiatzakis kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Rene Luzea charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rene Luzea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes Soulfly F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rene Luzea. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bumin Kağan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50thth minute of the game Bumin Kağan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 51st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aşkın Özgunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aşkın Özgunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute Soulfly F.C. were awarded a corner. Rene Luzea went to the cornerflag to take it. After having played for 56 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th match minute, Soulfly F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herve de Neuyter to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balaban Mirkelam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Aşkın Özgunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erling Bennet's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Balaban Mirkelam cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermis Vogiatzakis in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th match minute, Soulfly F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erhan Değirmenci to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
