With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Pista Uno F.C.'s Ovidio Tristan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pista Uno F.C.'s Ovidio Tristan got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute of the match Pista Uno F.C. got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Koldobika Sendeño ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rolando Areosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Tomas Illescas sped through Pista Uno F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rolando Areosa. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Abastas in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match.

In the 53rd minute Ovidio Tristan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Lizbeth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Pista Uno F.C.'s Rolando Areosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Pista Uno F.C. from getting a goal against them. 72 minutes into the game, Pista Uno F.C.'s Ovidio Tristan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. 76 minutes into the match, Pista Uno F.C.'s goalkeeper Rolando Areosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Ovidio Tristan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ovidio Tristan went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. 84 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Tristan came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koldobika Sendeño in the 94th minute of play. Rolando Areosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pista Uno F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
