The TORQUE F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sébastien Frey should have stopped the shot. TORQUE F.C.'s Dave Mancinelli got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claes Sjögren hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Sébastien Frey in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th minute Dave Mancinelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
