The supporters of Venezuela booed when Nippur de Lagash 2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Israel Oliviero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Nippur de Lagash 2's Hernan Lehen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hernan Lehen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 53rd minute of the match Nippur de Lagash 2 got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Israel Oliviero ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Tito Chayo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 59th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Casimiro Cordarell struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nippur de Lagash 2. Tito Chayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Hernan Lehen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Gavino De Mitri hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, Casimiro Cordarell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. After taking down the ball on Nippur de Lagash 2's corner Lorenzo Bertran fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. After 95 minutes, Virgilio Emenon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nippur de Lagash 2 and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Virgilio Emenon kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Nippur de Lagash 2 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
