Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paavali Paatelainen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salomo Laukka, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Galand FC's Paavali Paatelainen. Paavali Paatelainen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teppo Kallioniemi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paavali Paatelainen having to interfere. Paavali Paatelainen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of the match. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Galand FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After a defensive mix-up in Galand FC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paavali Paatelainen came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabricio Quintan in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paavali Paatelainen having to interfere.

The wind increased when Fabricio Quintan made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paavali Paatelainen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 57 minutes, Salomo Laukka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galand FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salomo Laukka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Galand FC's goalkeeper Paavali Paatelainen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 61st minute of the match, Cristian Sancho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Paavali Paatelainen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 64th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paavali Paatelainen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paavali Paatelainen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 70th minute. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 71st minute. Paavali Paatelainen didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 73rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the match, Galand FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Paavali Paatelainen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Galand FC defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paavali Paatelainen. The Galand FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paavali Paatelainen should have stopped the shot. Ecuador played a much better game than Galand FC and deserved their victory. The Galand FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
