Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The supporters of Stommeer A booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 3 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Dobrowski came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramon Simons saved Stommeer A from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 10th minute of play forced Stommeer A's goalkeeper Ramon Simons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damien Roetering received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramon Simons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 21st minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramon Simons didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 33rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. Tom Hedvall made a great header on Stommeer A's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 41st minute of the match Gertjan Hardering sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfred Dobrowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Gertjan Hardering had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martijn Jol in the 74th minute of the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 played minutes Stommeer A got a freekick which was hit by Franck Akkerman. When Antonio Arias fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Antonio Arias a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. Martijn Jol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
