Alvaro Matxin kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Otsoko in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to Chelsea Headhunters getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. 孟坤誉 hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Chelsea Headhunters defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matthew McKail. The Chelsea Headhunters fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matthew McKail should have stopped the shot. In the 28th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthew McKail saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Matthew McKail showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. With an all-out effort, Chelsea Headhunters's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kutluay Acartürk, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Matthew McKail showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 38th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Honorato Abancens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. The Chelsea Headhunters players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 0-2.

Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Matthew McKail didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Matthew McKail made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 60th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Yana Brolin notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chelsea Headhunters's Matthew McKail played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 74th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Constantino Armada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kutluay Acartürk scored 2-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Matthew McKail showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 82nd minute of play forced Chelsea Headhunters's goalkeeper Matthew McKail to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Chelsea Headhunters's Gonzalo Otsoko got a free kick in the 86th minute. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kutluay Acartürk, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Mexico were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
