Boguslaw Dziedelonis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Feliciano Fito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Feliciano Fito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, Facundo Cadaval reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Remie Kint. The goal made the score 1-0. Remie Kint made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 16th minute of play. After 24 minutes C.S.D Punta Ballena's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Facundo Cadaval heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remie Kint breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Remie Kint in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the game, C.S.D Punta Ballena's Boguslaw Dziedelonis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 39th minute of play forced C.S.D Punta Ballena's goalkeeper Remie Kint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remie Kint showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Joel Gaona got a free kick in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 45th minute of play forced C.S.D Punta Ballena's goalkeeper Remie Kint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Boguslaw Dziedelonis made a kick off. Remie Kint showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 52nd minute of the match. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Lautaro Mancebo made a precise shot to the right of Remie Kint. C.S.D Punta Ballena's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Remie Kint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Terciero Francos came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Terciero Francos in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brion Heyros struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.S.D Punta Ballena. Remie Kint showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terciero Francos in the 82nd minute of the match. Manolo Agriano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remie Kint took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.S.D Punta Ballena's Remie Kint played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remie Kint saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvino Blanco kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Terciero Francos went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Mexico walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
