Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Chelsea Headhunters's Gonzalo Otsoko started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The corner led Chelsea Headhunters's Yana Brolin to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Chelsea Headhunters's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Matthew McKail reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yana Brolin in the 27th minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kutluay Acartürk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Rodion Cămătaru put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. 孟坤誉 hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matthew McKail read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. A collision led to Chelsea Headhunters getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. 孟坤誉 hit a great ball. After 55 minutes, Gonzalo Otsoko made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodion Cămătaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Matthew McKail made a huge save. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 73rd minute. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Matthew McKail quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonzalo Otsoko in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Gonzalo Otsoko, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 82 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Julio Vera was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Matthew McKail made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Otsoko in the 93rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthew McKail having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Chelsea Headhunters could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
