Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sjaak Degens made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes in the game, Daniel Zorita dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Tudor Mihoc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute. After 8 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tudor Mihoc was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 11th minute, Ruud Reinders hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tudor Mihoc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute Ruud Reinders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the game, Ruud Reinders cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hannibal Lecter kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sjaak Degens in the 22nd minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruud Reinders in the 25th minute of play. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Tudor Mihoc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tudor Mihoc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the game, Agustín Saelices recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tudor Mihoc. Agustín Saelices showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. With a little luck, Buitenhout FC's Tudor Mihoc got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Ruud Reinders was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buitenhout FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Ruud Reinders hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Tudor Mihoc made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Tudor Mihoc. Buitenhout FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Buitenhout FC's Ruud Reinders. But to his dismay, Ruud Reinders quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Felix Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tudor Mihoc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Tudor Mihoc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Buitenhout FC's Robert Ramzinski was substituted for Ruud Reinders. After a defensive mix-up in Buitenhout FC's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tudor Mihoc came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tudor Mihoc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 78th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iwo Wietrzychowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Ramzinski in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Tudor Mihoc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
