The audience thought a goal was coming when Filip Chlebek got free with Julio Vera in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jurand Lichniak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Filip Chlebek made the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Chlebek in the 51st minute of the match. If Ludomir Dabrowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Wojciech Budarz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jurand Lichniak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jurand Lichniak having to make a save. The BKS Jaga Białystok fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
