Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Gaona got the match started through his kick off. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Elvio Pacho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anibal Abar hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Teobaldo Phelipe tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Pacho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Mexico's Luca Rouco to fire away a dangerous shot which Elvio Pacho despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luca Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elvio Pacho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. The corner ended in Luca Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cha Fe FC's Elvio Pacho did a great save. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Augusto Jurdan sent off a good shot on target. After 43 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Joel Gaona. Gogo Nuno lost his temper 47 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 47th minute, one of Cha Fe FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cha Fe FC. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teobaldo Phelipe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cha Fe FC's Elvio Pacho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 55th minute of play. Elvio Pacho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 56th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Cha Fe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Elvio Pacho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elvio Pacho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 66th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Elvio Pacho in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 71 minutes Cha Fe FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Cha Fe FC's Elvio Pacho managed to reach the ball for a save. 73 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elvio Pacho. Cha Fe FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Elvio Pacho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Luca Zorita struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Elvio Pacho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. 89 minutes into the match, Cha Fe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Elvio Pacho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Elvio Pacho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hegoi Griful in the 93rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Xavi Iniesta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cha Fe FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. After 94 played minutes Cha Fe FC got a freekick which was hit by Xavi Iniesta. The Cha Fe FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
