Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 19th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Andino to maneuver through the defense. Cha Fe FC's Elvio Pacho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of play. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Pacho having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play forced Cha Fe FC's goalkeeper Elvio Pacho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cha Fe FC's Jimeno Atarrabi. But to his dismay, Jimeno Atarrabi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 55 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Atarrabi came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Cha Fe FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Rogelio Ibon hit a great ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Phelipe, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. With a little luck, Cha Fe FC's Elvio Pacho got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teobaldo Phelipe's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Cha Fe FC's Elvio Pacho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Cha Fe FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Cha Fe FC's Xavi Iniesta got a free kick in the 71st minute. Cha Fe FC made a substitution. Basilio Jusepe replaced Jimeno Atarrabi. When Cha Fe FC's Teobaldo Phelipe in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Cha Fe FC had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
