In the 5th minute, Eleuterio Mirande left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ilulea FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 9th minute of play forced Ilulea FC's goalkeeper Gabby Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santino Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabby Arias having to interfere. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Mirande in the 12th minute of play. Eleuterio Mirande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Ilulea FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. After taking down the ball on Colombia's corner Pascual Carballar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gabby Arias quite easily take care of the ball. Gabby Arias was a little too slow when Pascual Carballar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-1. With a little luck, Ilulea FC's Gabby Arias got control of the ball when Axel Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 史铮坤 in the 33rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Gabby Arias in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 43 minutes of play, Ilulea FC's Eleuterio Mirande made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Colombia's Axel Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Ilulea FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abram Sarmiento to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ilulea FC's goalkeeper Gabby Arias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cooper Copperfield during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 53rd minute, Cooper Copperfield hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the match, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabby Arias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 史铮坤 in the 58th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Eleuterio Mirande managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ilulea FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eleuterio Mirande was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Ilulea FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. 史铮坤 hit a great ball. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 65 minutes into the match, Ilulea FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Gabby Arias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Montenegro in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabby Arias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd minute 史铮坤 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabby Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, 史铮坤 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and 史铮坤 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Ignacio Mastache sped through Ilulea FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gabby Arias. After a rather tough play, Ilulea FC's Marian Golembiewski got a free kick in the 94th minute. The Ilulea FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
