With an extended leg and a bit of luck Humberto Maurits prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Queen Red Bulls Eertje booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute of the match Evert Reintjes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquin Gayoso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Humberto Maurits showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 22nd minute of the match. Humberto Maurits took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 minutes of play Queen Red Bulls Eertje's Kaj Vase was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Queen Red Bulls Eertje getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Kaj Vase hit a great ball. In the 36th minute of the match Jaime Cazalla shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Humberto Maurits showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Humberto Maurits made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 37th minute of play. Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ralf Karremans, made in the 40th minute of the game. Humberto Maurits showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 55th minute of the match, Francisco Seco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Humberto Maurits was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ralf Karremans made in the 60th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. 61 minutes into the match, Queen Red Bulls Eertje's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Humberto Maurits reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Gerardo Quexal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Queen Red Bulls Eertje's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uruguay the free kick. In the 80th minute Richard Ravenbergen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remond Pool hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Ravenbergen in the 86th minute of play. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Kevin Carballal got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the match was over Uruguay could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Queen Red Bulls Eertje throughout the match.
