After having played for 19 minutes, Ludwig Kamper managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Fura Balizas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ludwig Kamper was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Long Gang Sen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Long Gang Sen made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludwig Kamper, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute of the match FC Fura Balizas got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabrício Lopes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FC Fura Balizas's Lisandro Palhares got a free kick in the 50th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 55th minute of play forced FC Fura Balizas's goalkeeper Long Gang Sen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Fabrício Lopes came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the FC Fura Balizas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabrício Lopes couldn't finish the play. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabrício Lopes in the 66th minute. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. In the 71st minute of the match USA got a corner. FC Fura Balizas's Alex Belém was substituted for Cassiano Peralta. After a rather tough play, FC Fura Balizas's Shi Xiong Yong got a free kick in the 81st minute. When Gusmão Benevides fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Fura Balizas's protests and gave Gusmão Benevides a yellow card for diving instead. Long Gang Sen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Campbell in the 91st minute of play. FC Fura Balizas's Long Gang Sen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khalid Parry in the 92nd minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. USA fully deserved thier win.
