After 9 played minutes De Ontembare Leeuwen got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Chabanenko. Heiko Som showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 12th minute of the match. The supporters of De Ontembare Leeuwen booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute Kevin Newman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Heiko Som read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Jorn Spannenburg kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Salvador Gisbert hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, De Ontembare Leeuwen's Jorn Spannenburg got a free kick in the 25th minute. Carlos Gustavo Anatibia scored 1-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernest Kleinman. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Heiko Som didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. In the 37th minute, Kevin Newman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Ontembare Leeuwen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 40th minute, Ernest Kleinman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernest Kleinman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Heiko Som showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 56th minute of the match. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for De Ontembare Leeuwen! Tomas Illescas did an outstanding performance 71 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 3-1 to the right of an irritated Heiko Som in the goal. Heiko Som showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 76th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Jorn Spannenburg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De Ontembare Leeuwen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. In the 79th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. De Ontembare Leeuwen's Sander Spoel was substituted for Ernest Kleinman. The supporters of Venezuela booed when De Ontembare Leeuwen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Gustavo Anatibia went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Sander Spoel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The De Ontembare Leeuwen fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
