Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Meninos De Cotia's zone, Felix Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Rodrigues came out of the goal and Felix Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th match minute, Meninos De Cotia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davi Ferraz to maneuver through the defense. Faustin Ostermann hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Meninos De Cotia's Davi Ferraz got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Meninos De Cotia's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Rodrigues came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Hugo Rodrigues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. A sloppy throw-in by Camilo Gisbert in the 29th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Meninos De Cotia's Davi Ferraz. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 31st minute. Faustin Ostermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 36thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Meninos De Cotia's Hugo Rodrigues was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute, Faustin Ostermann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Genílson Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Davi Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Faustin Ostermann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Camilo Gisbert threw the ball into play from the sideline. Meninos De Cotia's Silvestre Corderro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Del Piero, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Hugo Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 60th minute of play. Faustin Ostermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Rodrigues having to interfere. In the 73rd minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hugo Rodrigues was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 79 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Rodrigues narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Del Piero in the 81st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Meninos De Cotia's Nicanor Seber was substituted for Agnaldo Siqueira. Meninos De Cotia were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Silvestre Corderro took the corner. After taking down the ball on Meninos De Cotia's corner Silvestre Corderro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Rodrigues having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Meninos De Cotia.
